As the curtains draw to 2017, we bring to you the year that was for us.

In 2017, the real estate industry witnessed momentous churns through the year, particularly in Q1 and Q2 with RERA & GST coming into play. Among all the speculations, it was indeed an advantageous move for home buyers across the states RERA has been implemented in end-to-end. RERA has been implemented in 16 States and 7 Union Territories till date. Of these, four states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab – have established their permanent Real Estate Regulatory Authority, while 19 states/UTs have set up interim authorities experts, an authority with the Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry said.


We at Puravankara Ltd. have adhered to all requirements as per the RERA guidelines. This year has been particularly a fast paced one, for the reason, we received Occupancy Certificate for 4 of our key projects including Purva 270 (Bangalore), Purva Skydale (Bangalore), The Tree by Provident (Bangalore), Rays of Dawn (Bangalore). All our under construction projects are RERA registered and RERA compliant.

It has been an eventful second half of the year for home buyers as well as for us. We organized multiple home buying festivals through September up till December 2017. Our objective to organize these large scale fests was  focused towards enabling prospective home buyers to fulfill their dreams of buying a home at the best prices. It was to bring that personal touch where a family walked in with a thought of buying a home and walked away smiling, with a key to their dream home.

Big 72 Home Fest


We kicked off the festive season with our BIG 72 Home Fest in Bangalore (Hotel Lalit Ashok) and Chennai (Hotel Hyatt Regency) held from 15-17th September. We witnessed an overwhelming response with over 1800 potential home buyers walking-in over 3 days.

The next stop was Bengaluru Home Habba in J.P.Nagar in Bangalore. Yet again, the event was very well-received and appreciated by all attendees, as well as those who purchased homes during the three day real estate affair. We saw over 1200 walk-ins which motivated us further to reach out to more home buyers but this time in west Bangalore.

Bengaluru Home Habba was planned and executed in MR Convention Center, Mysore Road, Bangalore. Three days of massive discounts on Puravankara and Provident Homes, on-spot offers, gold coins, discounts on our interior services (Purva Streaks), and a surprise cashback of up to Rs.50000/-. Everyone who purchased homes at the habba, were truly delighted with the event and the price benefits they received at the fest.

As a brand, we are conscious of our markets and customer needs. We believe it is equally important to connect with people in our existing as well as newer markets. We felt that, a similar fest should be organized in one of the fastest growing business hubs in India – Coimbatore. We planned the South India Home Fest in the city in December this year which as surprisingly well received and the 2 day home fest ended on a high.


At the core of our business ethics and values, our priority remains our ‘Patrons’- our customers. Our conscious effort is to engage with our customers across our existing markets. Through the year, we organized ‘Safe Days’ at various projects, ‘Customer Engagement Events’ in multiple cities including, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai and Coimbatore. These were to ensure, we address all queries and concerns of our customers. The response was promising and positively encouraging for us to organize more such events in other project locations.


On August 15th 2017, on the occasion of India’s 71st Independence Day, we at Provident Housing made history by entering the ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ for creating the Largest Greeting Card Replica on the occasion. This day is also celebrated as the Foundation Day of Puravankara Limited. This initiative was taken, keeping in mind, our Chairman, Mr. Ravi Puravankara’s vision of #Homes4All.



43 years of being a leader in the realty business and continued growth would not have been possible without our Channel Partners. To build credibility and trust, we firmly believe that transparency is the key to our business model. Our efforts are ensure that our customers have firm belief in us as a brand, be it through our large network of trusted channel partners across cities and countries. Various channel partner meets were organized this years in 6 cities to plan ahead. Key takeaway from these meets was that, we will always stand by our customers and meet their expectations.


It is always a morale booster, when our contribution and hard work, in the real estate industry is recognized, appreciated and awarded. We feel honored and motivated to have been felicitated with multiple credible awards in 2017.
