Puravankara Launches Expert-led Knowledge Series – ‘On The REcord – Decoding Realty’

The pandemic-led social distancing norms have had a transformative impact on people’s relationships with their homes. Due to the present work-life model, homebuyers now have increased liberty to think of where they ‘desire to live’, as opposed to where they ‘have to stay’. A broader range of living options coupled with the air of uncertainty has reinforced real estate as a safe and necessary investment asset for many.

Today, the realty market is bustling with new-age buyers who are looking for a right place to start. There is an abundance of literature available on real estate investments across digital and traditional media. It can be overwhelming to filter out relevant information from this bulk. Recognizing this need among homebuyers, Puravankara decided to launch a four – part video series titled, ‘On The REcord – Decoding Realty’. The series was created in collaboration with The Promise Foundation.
‘On The REcord’ will break down concepts associated with the sector, discuss emerging trends and offer a simplified explanation of the industry. Every episode will feature leading industry experts who will share valuable insights and address queries of homebuyers at every stage.

The first episode of the series ‘Women Take Centre Stage: A New Dawn for Real Estate’, will feature esteemed leaders – Gitanjali Mirchandani, MD & Country Head – Origination, JM Financial Credit Solutions Ltd., Riya Bhattacharya, CEO, Navi Finserv and Amanda Puravankara, Director, Provident Housing Ltd. and will be moderated by Minol R. Ajekar, Group Head, Corp Comm & CSR, Puravankara Ltd. The episode will focus on the rise of women homeownership in India’s real estate landscape. It will also highlight government- and industry-built provisions that will enable more women to invest in the sector.
