Since its inception in 1975, Puravankara has believed that there is only one mantra for success: Quality. This credo combined with uncompromising values, customer-centricity, robust engineering and transparency in business operations, has placed it among the ‘most preferred’ real estate brands in both residential and commercial segments.
The Company has grown from strength to strength, having successfully completed 48 residential projects and 2 commercial projects spanning upto 23.54 million square feet (PPL’s economic interest –20.93 msft). Currently it has 24.87 million square feet / 17,895 units (PPL’s economic interest – 22.03 msft/ 16,188 units) of projects under development, with an additional 22.73 million square feet(PPL’s economic interest – 18.98msft) in projected development. An ISO 9001 certification by DNV in 1998 and a DA2+ rating by CRISIL are testaments to Puravankara’s reputation as a real estate developer of the highest quality and reliability standards.
The Group commenced operations in Mumbai and has established significant presence in the metropolitan cities of Bangalore, Kochi, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Mysore and overseas in Dubai, Colombo and Saudi-Arabia.
Puravankara has the distinction of being the first developer to obtain FDI in the Indian real estate industry. It achieved so through its joint venture with Singapore based Keppel Land Limited, the property arm of the 54% government owned conglomerate, Keppel Corporation Limited. The joint venture company, Keppel Puravankara Developm ent Private Limited, has several ongoing housing projects in India. Puravankara prides itself on continual innovation to meet evolving market needs. Provident Housing Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary was launched in 2009, to cater burgeoning demand in the affordable housing segment. Nearly 12 million square feet of projects are under development at the present. The company plans to expand its presence with the continued unabated demand in the market.
The Puravankara Group Companies has the distinction of being awarded 'Finaliste, International Prix d' Excellence –1998' for its project "Purva Park" in Bangalore. The award was adjudged under the group residential category by FIABCI in Paris, the International Federation of Real Estate. Puravankara has also bagged the Realty Plus Excellence Award - 2012 in the category 'Popular Choice - Developer of the Year: Residential.' Ravi Puravankara, Chairman, has received the 'Lifetime Achievement' award. Jackbastian K. Nazareth, CEO, was deemed "Most Enterprising CEO." Puravankara has a workforce of over 900 skilled personnels, including 205 engineers and in-house architects who fuel the organization's vision of delivering quality products to its consumers perpetually.

Ms. Sonali Rastogi Graduated from the School of Planning and Architecture (New Delhi) and The Architectural Association (London) with a graduate diploma in Housing and Urbanism and a second graduate diploma in Graduate Design, Sonali is Founder Partner of Morphogenesis. Sonali has recently been awarded Laureate of the SIA Getz Award for Emergent Architecture in Asia, Singapore 2014, which seeks to bring recognition to Asian architects, who through their vision and commitment have made a significant contribution in shaping the changing landscape of Asia. Ms.Sonali Rasotgi is a member of the Delhi Urban Arts Commission (DUAC), a Fellow of the IIA (Indian Institute of Architects) and the RSA (Royal Society of Arts, UK). She has been responsible for a number of nationally and internationally acclaimed projects. Issues related to the environment and sustainability are at the core of Ms.Sonali’s design attitude and her experience and expertise in Architecture/ Interior Design has been recognized by way of numerous awards and accolades. Ms.Sonali has recently been listed among the 10 icons of the design world by the celebrated Platform Magazine. She lectures globally, has been a part of various academic and design juries, and been a speaker at events such as The Design Leadership Summit 2014 (New York), GRIHA Conference 2014, India Design ID 2013 Symposium, Women Leaders in India Conference & Awards, Pecha Kucha (Sydney and New Delhi). Sonali is also a founder member of manthan; a cross-cultural platform for creative exchange, aiming to be the voice of the Indian creative community.

Kuldip Chawlla is an accomplished professional, with a career spanning over three decades across diverse functional roles in banking and financial services, infrastructure and real estate. For the last 15+ years has been in senior leadership positions in the field of real estate, particularly in the areas of corporate and project finance, risk management, full life cycle investments, operations and change management. Before joining Puravankara Ltd, he was the Managing Partner / Principal of two global and national real estate platforms investing across multiple asset classes, pan India. He has led acquisition and divestment of over 15 mn sft of commercial and residential office space across 6 gateway cities pan India. Prior to this, he held senior positions in the financial services, private equity and infrastructure at Unitech Realty Investors, IL&FS Investment Managers, Chescor Funds, ANZ Bank and ICICI. Kuldip is an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies - Delhi and is a recipient of the prestigious Udyog Ratna award in 2008. He has been a past member of various associations such as The Indus Entrepreneurs Association (TiE) and Indian Venture Capital Association (IVCA), and on various Real Estate Committees of, among others, Assocham, FICCI, and CII. Kuldip has been invited to the Membership at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He has been a regular speaker at conferences and seminars on real estate for the past 15 years.

‘Quality Management System’ is a repository of processes and systems, which define all activities at Puravankara. The QMS ensures delivery of a quality product at optimum cost and minimum impact to the environment and society at large. QMS training is mandatory for all employees, upon qualification they are QMS certified. Puravankara’s QMS conforms to the ISO 9001 standard.

Project Review Management is a monthly review process for ongoing projects. PICs (project-in-charge) prepare a progress report benchmarked against international best practices including project progress, project cost report, project inventory and project risks. Senior management presence at these forums enables quick resolution of project issues and provides impetus for speedy execution. The PRM rates all PPL projects on key parameters such as progress, schedule, cost, quality, safety and housekeeping. Outstanding projects receive a commendation every month; best-in-class projects are awarded every quarter.
