Research on ward/neighborhood level water sensitive plan
A research project is undertaken to prepare a ward/neighbourhood-level water-sensitive plan for an identified ward in Chennai in partnership with the Centre for Human Settlements, Anna University, Chennai. The city faces water scarcity due to rapid urbanisation, over-extraction of groundwater, and climate change. This comprehensive plan aims to understand the area's needs and challenges and provide solutions to mitigate the issue.

Special initiatives for Youths
The Viveka Smaraka-Youth Center, managed by Swamy Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, will provide values-based character education inspired by Swami Vivekananda to about 25,000 students annually across schools, colleges, and youth groups. It will also offer vocational, life skills training and cultural competence. Additionally, the center will benefit 5,000 working professionals, homemakers, senior citizens, and tourists through workshops, interactive sessions, and cultural programs.
Project PARAM, implemented by Jana Seva Trust, includes cutting-edge centres dedicated to science, culture, and conventions. These facilities feature a Science Experience Center, a cultural hub, and a convention venue, each offering various activities tailored to its respective fields. These facilities can accommodate 3,000 attendees and host 500 guests to foster youth awareness and facilitate diverse scientific and cultural events.
