Miyawaki Forest
As part of its commitment to reducing environmental degradation and restoring ecosystems, Puravankara has initiated the development of the Miyawaki forest at three locations around Bengaluru: two government schools in Dyvansandra and Paduvanagere, and at Bhoothnahalli in Bannerghatta. The Miyawaki forest is a promising solution for urban reforestation, restoring degraded lands, biodiversity conservation, combating climate change and providing aesthetic and recreational value to the communities. As part of its broader commitment to sustainability, Puravankara has also pledged to plant 1 million trees by 2030 under the World Economic Forum’s ‘1 Trillion Tree Program,’ reinforcing its dedication to a greener future.
